Since February 2008, Mr. Carrico has been Georgia Gulf Corporation's President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Carrico also serves on the company’s Board of Directors.

Previously, he served as the company's Vice President - Chemicals & Vinyls and as its Vice President-Polymers. Prior to joining Georgia Gulf, he held several commercial and operations management positions with Condea Vista Company (formerly Conoco Chemicals) including General Manager of Olefins and Vinyl. He earned an M.S. in Engineering from the University of Louisville and an M.S. in Management with an emphasis on corporate and business strategy from MIT.

Paul is a past board member of the Vinyl Siding Institute.
